Well, Chris is out of surgery and is in the room.
He was super groggy for a while and slept for several hours, which is a good thing as he had to lay still for 6 hours after the surgery. He is now been up and walked around the unit a couple of times and has had dinner. (He ordered salmon- the only way he could get fish is to be sick in the hospital)
the doctor came around this evening and said that he would be in tomorrow and that Chris would probably go home tomorrow.
Chris said he feels great. He is not weak or really tired. He doesn't feel like he could go running but otherwise he is not in any pain. All is well!
