house hunt

I think the name of "house hunting" is a little funny....
the houses don't move, we don't track them, we don't follow them... it is however like a treasure hunt.... the intrigue of what am i going to see or find in the next house...
Saturday we (Chris, both kids, and myself) went with our realtor to look at houses. we saw one that was nice inside but super smelly-(think-- a kitty lived in that house, next to a stock yard), one i could not get out of fast enough and one i liked...sooooo
We have a contender!
The house was built in 1970. It reminds me of our house in Casper (a little). We are going to look at it again on Wed morning. We have a contractor friend in the ward who is coming with us to give us and idea of how much it would take/cost to update the bathrooms and kitchen.
The house is near the high school in AF. We would be able to hear the marching band practice ;-) and hear football games ;-). The high school is also where they shoot off fireworks on the 4th and 24th. We could sit on the front lawn and see the show ;-)
It has a small yard but big enough for small gathering!
here is MLS #1071652 -no photos yet ;-(

No photos yet.....That is the best part. I love looking at houses, especially if there is not time line and deadline. A buyers market is always good when buying.
