Today we got some news about the loan for the new house that was a little tough and needed our attention- so we worked on that and got a little bit of a late start. We got to Venice at about 2 this afternoon- it was HOT!!!
we did find the water fountain that you can drink from and a couple of little grocery stores where water and juice are cheap.
Venice is sooo coool to see for a first view. Truly it is amazing. We didn't have any plans for the day so we thought we would wander and see where things were. We have a walking tour in the morning and we found the place where we are meeting the group. One piece of advice we got about Venice was to enjoy the getting lost, and that if you find a little thing you like, don't think about it at the hotel because you may never find that same shop agian.... after today I believe that truer words were never spoken.

we found a pizza place where the cook was funny and flirty with Ais-- we bought a large pizza to bring back to the hotel for dinner.
Even though it is hot we have found that there is a little breeze almost all the time! It is so nice.

Chris- chocolate and caramel
Janelle- coconut and cherry (one of the best cherries with bits of fruit)
Ais- hazelnut (double)
