no where in particular

today was a no where in-particular kind of day. We got up and showered, i threw some laundry in- so it will be dry by tomorrow...
Ais wanted to go the sketch something in the city. we walked to the Ufizzi and the Piazza de Signora, a main town square and sat in the shade.

i have no idea who this is

She did a little sketching but didn't seem to be engrossed in it. I sat with her while Chris wandered around the square and the side streets. He came back with a tomato and fresh mozzarella sandwich for us, so yummy.
We walked to our favorite gelato spot and each had a bit. We wandered some more and found another gelato place with 56 flavors... Chris and Ais each had some more gelato... we wandered some more and I got hot---(it was about 98 today) and I got a second gelato... we wandered and found a 99 cent store, bought some household essentials . We wandered around and found another gelato place that boasted 80 flavors, we may have to try that one tomorrow

80 flavors???

 and came home.
it was really pretty miserable out today for me, Ais seems to love it, the hotter the better.

We relaxed at home a bit then went out for dinner- tonight we had Indian. Chris had chicken tikka masala and I had chicken korma. the three of us shared the two dishes and still we brought home left overs. We are trying to not have left overs as we leave day after tomorrow for Venice.

We did see a special treat today--- the newest model of Ferrari.

it may not have the horses.....

but i am sure it has the heart
Today's flavors:
Chris- 1.) tiramasu and plum and cherry (3 flavors)
           2.) dark chocolate and blueberry
3.) mango with rose syrup (from Indian Restaurant)
Janelle- 1.) yogurt and cherry
2.) strawberry cheesecake and black cherry
Ais- 1.) hazelnut and white chocolate
        2.) extra dark chocolate
