so we just got back from the gelato run... we had decided to see if we could have gelato at a different place everyday and not repeat gelato stores. So far there are more than 3 gelato stores ;-)
For those unaccustomed to the way gelato works, you typically can choose two flavors or sometimes three if you get the big size. They put the flavors side by side in a cup or in a cone.
My flavors today were caramel and strawberry cheesecake--- super yummy!
Ais had hazelnut and creme of flower (? not sure if we translated that correctly)
Chris had extra dark chocolate and strawberry cheesecake.
This has been some of the best gelato we have had so far.. the place is called La Carraia... we may need to bend the rule and have gelato more than once in a day so we can both try a new place and go back to this place--- wont break my heart!
