yesterday Chris and I went to see the house. we have a roof and windows.
we also walked around part of the path behind the house and saw a beaver in the pond and some fun new birds. we heard a pheasant and really enjoyed ourselves. we figured out that to walk from our house to and then around the pond and back was about 1.5 miles. mostly with water on one side of the path. It is really lovely.
