This morning I woke to Chris gently saying
"sweetie- it's7:08, breakfast goes from 7 to 8. Are you getting up for breakfast?"
I reply
"breakfast???!"
I think
"have you ever met me?"
Knowing that the first speaker will be at 8 I slowly roll out of bed- groggy and fuzzy.
I get in the shower and begin to get ready. I was in a little bit of a rush to get ready at the end.
I run into the room from the bathroom and tell Chris
"let me get my shoes and I will be ready to go"
I grab my bag, find my shoes and unplug my phone.
I look and see
6:45---
I say
"ummm honey...... it is 6:45"
With a sheepish grin I hear him say
"ohhh yeah, I forgot to change my watch"
Well...
At least we made it to breakfast- (totally NOT worth it)
