I have officially turned into a fuddy-duddy!
Last night we stayed up until midnight to watch the ball drop from time square.
I got to kiss my sweetie and we (the kids and Chris and I) had a glass of sparkling goodness and at about 12:10 I brushed my teeth and went to bed.
It was a wonderful night but somehow I remember midnight taking longer and staying up later.
We have started a New Years tradition however, Chris and Lach made super yummy crepes!
We will definitely be doing that again.
I made buttermilk syrup (aka warm cream cheese frosting- also fantastic on french toast btw). We all had so much fun.
We got a crepe pan for a wedding gift and yesterday Lach said " wow--- we got lots of great stuff at the wedding didn't we".
Yes, my boy, we did. Including each other for eternity.
