Happy New Year

I have been lagging a bit it seems as the New Year has already begun.
I had a wonderful evening. I went to the Single Adult New Years Eve dance...
Yep there were some ancients there and I even picked up a toad (he claimed to be a pilot who then became a patent attorney and is now finished with med school and looking for internships).
He must have thought that I look stupid ;-)
AHHH... it felt like I was 14 again. Remind me how much I don't want to be 14 again!
Anyway while I was at the dance I met a group of mid-singles (31-45 yo).
They get together often and I was invited to the next activity.
Saturday we met up at a place down town and played pool and darts and just hung out.
There were between 40-50 people there from our group.
It is nice to be making some acquaintances and maybe even friends.

The other news is I have been called to teach the Sunbeams!
They are darling. I have 4 little girls in my class and today was our first day.
I really enjoyed it and realized I don't know any of the primary songs!!

Anyway--- may your New Years dreams come true and may you keep you resolutions.
