Lime delight

After much thought and with my proposal finally in the hands of my committee I decided it was time to transform Jay's room into my office.
We ran to Wal-mart and bought primer and paint. I was so excited that I couldn't wait and started painting that night. (must run in the family-Karla)
I changed my cloths and moved everything to the middle of the room, boy I have a lot of STUFF!
I was ready!

So mom donned her painting clothing and came to help. What an angel!
The room as you may recall was a glassy Wal-mart blue.
With primer it looked a sickly blue that had leprosy.

We let it dry overnight then started the lovely new color~iced julep.

We let that dry as we ran to Wal-mart for another gallon (boy that blue was dark)

NOW~ I am working in a room that reminds me of a large pan of lime delight.
Needless to say it is a bit more green than I anticipated, however I love it.
It seems warm (and is still a bit smelly) and has quite a bit of yellow in it.
