Meet Chris

I have been dating someone- He is a really great guy and I like him a lot He is divorced and has 2 really wonderful (teenage) kids. We all get along great and I have so much fun with them. His name is Christopher (Chris). He is also a PhD student in nursing. His focus is on informatics (computer stuff). He is super smart and really cute. He is so easy to talk to. We have been friends for a couple of years and then just started dating a little while ago. Here is a photo.

a new us

It has happened (again).... My skinny pants are not just a little tight, they are what my mom would call 'indecent'. My fat pants are even a little less comfy than I would like... (sigh) That being said... Here is the newest acquisition to the M. household... Here is my super cute Mr. I got on and was winded (aka- sucking air-bad) after 5 min. Now I do three 5 min sessions a day. I feel a little like jello legs after but hope to work upto at least moderately "in shape" in the not too distant future.

my little sicky

it has been a rough couple of days for the youngest of my family.... Bentley had not been eating or drinking. I hand fed him some frozen broth and gave him water from a dropper on Monday...by Tuesday he was not better. I took him to the vet on Tuesday afternoon- as soon as they could get us in. They kept him for a few hours, He got an IV and some medication. He apparently got a protozoa/parasite (similar to giardia). I picked him up last night and we kept him at home overnight. He still was not himself and did not drink unless i gave it to him from the dropper, and even then he only had about 1 tablespoon of water. I was instructed to not let him eat. I brought him back to the vet this morning for a check up and they are keeping him today-- more IV fluids and medication. I will pick him up this evening and give him meds at home. I totally fell apart when the vet tech took him from me this morning and he started to whimper and cry as he clung to me.... my poor little guy. I know he wi...
