Enchanted evening

As I was out walking tonight the drying leaves were chattering in the breeze on the trees while those that had fallen rushed and clicked on the street running wherever the wind pushed them. The moon is almost crescent shaped and there was a bright halo encircling it. The wind was earthy and fragrant with cool fingers that played at my hair and a soft voice that whispered in my ear as if to hurry me along. The night is truly enchanted.
I read one that the halo around the moon is merely the reflection of the moons light on ice crystals in the atmosphere, (thought to mean that rain or snow is on its way), I also heard that it means the moon got married. Whether a scientist or a romantic you cannot deny its beauty.

I did not take this photo but it is perfect for tonight, full of mystery, romance and the promise of enchantment.
