This morning I woke up to the sound of rain on the streets of Paris....
I love the rain and somehow it seems more quaint here...
Paris is a beautiful city- super smelly and not clean.. but the architecture is amazing!
We left early this morning and walked to the Louvre. It was about a 30 min walk from the hotel. Although i don't think it will take that long next time. We spent 4 1/2 hours getting lost in the museum. It is so big. I can see why the peasants of Paris would revolt against such opulence.
We saw the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. my favorite parts were the statues. We also saw Napoleon's residence... He did not save much money either... ;)
