mostly chill (NOT temp wise) day

the tempurature this morning at 8 am---
84 (not bad) with 97% humidity (not good) = feels like 106 (WAY. TOO. HOT!!!!!)
then it rained buckets for a few hours and was a little less oppressive...

this morning i presented.... it went OK. I was pleased and there were some good questions and people talked with me after to ask more questions and swap business cards.
this is the only photo that we got... not my finest hour/face
then we came back to the room and rested... (read the morning paper). then we went to church. We attended an English branch that is designated for mostly Filipino domestic workers. There were also 3 senior missionary couples in the branch. Altogether there were 9 men in sacrament meeting (including Chris). No primary and no youth. the meeting was soooo quiet. Someone dropped a book and 1/2 the congregation jumped....i don't think i would hear a book drop if it were next to me in my home ward.
in RS i was asked to introduce myself as a visitor. I stood and said my name and that i was visiting from Utah.... there was a collection " WWWOOOWWW"

despite feeling a little overwhelmed... the sisters were very warm and welcoming. they all wanted to shake my hand and sit by me. They were kind and sincere. the lessons and talks were full of faith and i loved hearing their stories and application of the gospel in their lives. the spirit was very strong. I really loved meeting them. I also got a chance to chat with the senior sisters... 2 from Utah and 1 from Arizona. they were kind and happy to talk with someone from home.
over all a very nice day!
