health update

As many of you know Chris has been having a little heart trouble... mainly his heart has gone out of rhythm, beating too fast and not effectively.
a few months ago he talked with our doc and she had him weather a heart monitor for a month, then he did a stress test. The results came back that he has a  two parts of his heart  sending beats, when you should only have one. We went to a cardiologist and Chris had an MRI of his heart. His heart is mostly in really good shape, except for that one part that should not be starting heart beats. Sooo... to fix the problem Chris is scheduled for a cardiac ablation on Dec 12.
The procedure will take place in the hospital in Provo. We will go in EARLY on the 12th and Chris will stay at least overnight.
We are optimistic and have the best cardiologist! During the procedure the doc  will basically burn scar tissue around the area of Chris' heart that should not be sending beats... to stop the electrical flow. The recovery should be pretty fast with Chris being able to go back to work/school after a week or ten days... thank heavens it will be Christmas break so he can take as long as he needs.
